Pros: What do you like about 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer?
1. Very stylish.
2. Excellent gas mileage.
3. A good safe car.
4. The upgraded sound system is awesome.
5. Comfortable ride.
6. Great braking.
7. Decent in snow.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer?
1. A major starting issue. It could be 75 degrees and sunny...our new car would spit and sputter like some old farmers tractor. It took 9 months for mitsu to address and create a fix for it. If you do a little research, this was a major "quiet" problem for them with this model. We were very tempted for Lemon Law.
2. The sound system would cut in and out. And this is a minor car problem, but major dealership problem. 7 months to get it fixed, 8 visits to our dealership. They replaced the whole thing, but didn't check the fuses. The second time I went in, I even told them to check the fuses. Idiots.
3. No get up and go unless you are already gone. Forget quick merges on highways from an on ramp. Not happening. However, once you get speed built up, It is very fast and smooth and controls great. It's just getting there that sucks.
4. Loud engine until you get going.

Overall a decent car. We won't be buying another, however, due to issues stated above.

I love the controls on teh streering wheel! I love the smooth ride and the over all look. Over all a great looking and great car!

The gadgets! paddle shifters,keyless entry, keyless start/stop, 30GB Music Server w/600watts speakers, 18" ream, GPS, Sirius radio, DVD player, etc.

2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Review:
I bought my 2008 Mitsubishi GTS Lancer (full options) 6 months ago. This car is fun to drive. You can either drive it automatic or manual (using the paddle shifter). Comparing it with Honda Civic or Corolla, I definitely will choose this car. It has more electronic gadgets included at a very reasonable price + 10 yrs warranty + 5 yrs free road side assistance.

new look, handles well. love the paddle shifters, makes me feel the control i have when i need it.

Engine is weak from a Dead Stop!!! However, decent after it gets rolling.(Boost the RPM's a bit.) ***Engine Noise***
2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Review:
The looks are great...plus the added equipment;i.e. - Nav, Bluetooth Interface, Sound System rolled into one nice little package all on 18 inch rims. Fun to drive. Corners like it's on rails. Nice Car - good mileage.

2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Review:
I bought a 2008 Lancer in June and it was just totaled for hitting a curb as the suspension system fell apart! They are recalling the car for the bad suspension system, as far as I know. Mitsubishi is taking our Lancer back and we'll get our money back.

Pros: What do you like about 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer?
Looks, CVVT with paddle shifters, NAV system, number of air bags, great brakes, Blue tooth cell phone integration with sound system is great, controls on steering wheel are great as well, Keyless ignition system on GTS, Sound system, great price for many items only found on much more expensive cars.

More power (okay now but a rocket with more HP), AWD option
2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Review:
Overall a great car. I was just about to buy a 2007 Honda Accord but it was so blah. Nothing exciting. Just a car. The Lancer GTS looks great and is a blast to drive. More car for the money - blue tooth, NAV, Keyless ignition, 30GB sound system with 650 watts. I think if Mitsubishi actually advertised the car some they could not make them fast enough. I highly recommend checking it out if you are looking at the Honda Civic or Honda Accord glass of car.
