rear suspension archaic. solid rear axle rides truck-like. Get rid of 55" tires. Hard riding and rapid wearing. go to 65 or 70's. rough ride!

Driver's armrest is too narrow and too high.
2008 Scion xB Review:
I've owned my 2008 XB since July. The electric steering is quick and precise and takes a little getting use to but I thoroughly enjoy the handling. The new engine makes the very frisky in urban driving and it loves to be tossed around. The ride is comfortable in around town driving but somewhat choppy at highway speed but not offensively so. Gas mileage thus far has been disappointing at 16 mpg according to the on board mileage computer. I might add that I'm a bit of an aggressive driver. Your mileage may differ. Toyota doesn't tout the performance of this car but I think it should....it really does handle quite well!!!! There's surprising amount of room inside despite its diminutive exterior dimensions. This car's spirit really comes alive between 3500 and 5500 rpms. The engine is eager to run and all you need do is wind it up and let her rip!!!! Don't worry, the brakes are capable of stopping you quickly from any speed....they work very well. It's a great little runabout and I'm happy with my purchase.

Great comfortable ride. Very roomy interior. Getting about 27 mpg. A definite value!! Love it. Love it!!

I love everything about my new 2008 XB It drives great , handles with ease, very roomy, rides smooth, and has the power to move when needed.

I owned a 2006 Scion Tc before this XB and it was great too, I just needed more room for my job
