Handling, mpg, tow capacity, looks.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Subaru Forester?
Sound deadening is a MUST, rework center console for better access to tea cup, etc. Center arm rest too small. Add auto UP to auto down plus turn off delay for driver's window. Grade logic in the transmission would be nice.
2008 Subaru Forester Review:
Getting good mpg in the 22 - 28 range, crisp handling, makes driving fun again after two decades of mini vans. Good power, tows well. Seats are comfortable for me at 6'3" and 240 lbs but of course no leg room in back seat.

Can you find me a better wagon.. with great Horizontal and VERTICAL Room + performance + MPG + the room to improve its overall characteristics in and out with so many Aftermarkets possibilities... Don't think so!

Drive one and you will see. I have too many cars, but I will trade my 07' Tribeca for the 09' Forester when it arrives in the states. A++ Guys!
