Pros: What do you like about 2008 Volkswagen Jetta?
Excellent performance all around, city as well as highway.
There is plenty of room for the average adult.
Excellent as a daily driver.
Good mileage, fun to drive with standard transmission, smooth shifting.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Volkswagen Jetta?
The tire pressure light on the dash is rather sensitive and comes on frequently. I have Nitro filled tires and they hold their pressure normally very well. I have it reset by the dealer each time.
Check ups at dealer are somewhat expensive, but they keep it running like new.
2008 Volkswagen Jetta Review:
Overall good value. Now have 41/m miles on it and she runs like a dream. Good warranty to 50/m. I will purchase a TDI next for even better mileage. Typical German Engineering.

Not really anything so far. Just that a few lights keep popping up by dashboard for tire pressure.

Performance and handeling is a notch above other economy cars.
Interior fit & finish is excellent.
Firm heated seats are excellent.
Very adjustable driving position, no blind spots.
Great sound system.
The transmission has 3 modes, regular, sport, and autoshift.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Volkswagen Jetta?
Center console is too small and what are those grab handles for?
Lighted sun visors with the sliding door and mini mirrors...well, you get it.
Heated seat controls are very difficult to adjust while driving.
Finding the engine power through the electric gas pedal is not always easy.
2008 Volkswagen Jetta Review:
The Jetta is really an upscale economy car with european feel. Firm seats and suspension really separate it from U.S. and Japanese autos. The Jetta maintains excellent fit and finish even in places you might look like the engine compartment. Very responsive compared to a civic, corolla, or sentra, without the gerbil under the hood sound. That term "Looking for drivers" is true, driving one of these is a real pleasure.

Well designed interior/exterior, good handling, definitely good value. Spacious trunk.

Electromechanical steering has quite poor center feel, takes time to get used to.
2008 Volkswagen Jetta Review:
I've had me Jetta for five months/6000 miles and so far so good. Car is very well designed, good materials used on interior. Controls are simple and well laid out. Performance of 2.5 motor is sufficient, fuel economy appropriate. The car has been four times back to service due to airbag sensor failure, better service would be appreciated, but this widely depends on the dealer. Electromechanical steering takes a bit of time to get used to, especially center feel is quite unsure. Suspension is traditionally hard, yet handling is very well balanced.

I like the fact that VW has a strong made car that gives back to the owner! The power you feel when you are driving, the saftey of knowing when you have your precious cargo in tow that you have all the saftey inside that car!

There is not much I can say about improvments because I'm happy with my car and the style of the Jetta

I love my 2008 Jetta! Knowing that I'm safe with all the saftey features that Jetta offers! Knowing that I have the power under the hood to get me moving but yet easy on gas! Now with high price of gas, I'm glad to own a VW Jetta and save money on my gas to be able to spend more on other things that my family needs! I love my Jetta!

Excellent riding car,makes driving fun,and safe.Great torque,over entire band.Other cars of similar h.p.have no torque to match and feel sluggih and non responsive,boring.
