2009 Pontiac G6 Review:
My G6 has not been worth anything. It is a two year old car with 54000 miles on in it. I've treated it well, regular maintenance, not wrecks etc. I have recently had to replace the entire transmission, the lower control arm, several fuses and it still isn't right. I would not recommend this car to anyone! And GM really needs to stand behind their product and get me a different car instead of offering bogus incentives.

The car is classy looking and radio is great.
Cons: How would you improve 2009 Pontiac G6?
The brakes totally suck and the they aren't covered under warranty even though many many people have problems with them from 10000 miles or less.
Mileage they also lie and it doesn't get the mileage by any means of what they say.
Based on these 2 items I wouldn't purchase another.
2009 Pontiac G6 Review:
Nice car, but problems with brakes, shimmying from beginning, loss of brakes in under 15k miles, mileage totally sucks. There should be a law on misrepresentation saying I'd get 29 m.p.g and I at best highway get only 21.

More head room. I bump my head every time I get in or out.

I had an 2007 G6 prior to this 2009, and really enjoy the updated dash.
I have the base G6, 6 cyl. and the performance is good.
Comfortable seating and handling is good.
Sound system is very good.
Love the OnStar that was not in my older 2007 G6.

The A post is sometimes a bit hard to see around, and rear view is not too good either.
2009 Pontiac G6 Review:
If I didn't like the 2007, I would never have gotten the 2009, so I think that speaks for itself. The G6 is a good looking car and I enjoy owning it. Too bad we'll never see Pontiacs in the future. I have always been a fan of Pontiac.

The G6 with the 6 cyl. is very commanding, ready to go when you need it.
Inside is comfortable front and rear.

I am 5ft 10 tall and I am always smacking my head on the roof when I get in and almost have to break my neck getting out. Could use a little higher roof on the side.

Overall the car is not bad so far but then I only have it a week. Give me 6 months and then ask me.

I LOVE THE FUEL ECONOMY.
The throttle is very responsive and the 4 cyl engine is very zippy and capable even on the freeway.
It has nice sporty styling and good road handling.
Has a lot of features loaded as standard, even on base models.
Cons: How would you improve 2009 Pontiac G6?
It could do with improved horsepower, and offer the 6 speed transmission as standard.
The front console layout and knobs could do with an upgrade.

Nice looking car.
To me, drives nice.
Base sound system is above average.
Good gas mileage.
Cons: How would you improve 2009 Pontiac G6?
Interior dash materials are underwhelming.
No door cupholders.
Personally, I would like a manual transmission offered.
2009 Pontiac G6 Review:
The car is new to me (only 500 miles), but so far I enjoy driving and am happy with the car. I have to admit without the Cars for Clunkers program and GM's aggressive rebates on the Pontiac line, I likely would not have bought but I am happy with purchase and feel good I bought an American made and UAW built car.
