Pros: What do you like about 2009 Pontiac G8?
Sharp styling... a modern sleeper sedan!
Love the front end 3/4 view with those wide wheel arches!
Low tire-to-fender gaps, low stance.
Excellent ride & handling balance.
Great looking interior, very functional.
Tones of cabin room, rear seat passengers feel like royalty.
Trunk can fit a hippo.
6.0L V8 growl (esp. with Borla) brings grins ear-to-ear every time.
Rev-matching sequential manual[matic] down shifts.
Limited slip diffy with traction control off button.
362 hp and 385 lb-ft of twist on tap when ever I want it.
I can almost hit 30 mpg in this 4000 lb sedan by hyper-miling it.
I can have my cake and eat it too!

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Pontiac G8?
Would have preferred a little less body roll in cornering.
Would like a button to turn off AFM or be customizable in the DIC.
6.5" multi-functional display should have had a nav option.
Would like door lock delay if a door is still open, don't honk at me.
Should have had a 6-spd manual option on the GT, not just the GXP.

Wanted a 2010 Camaro + needed a family car = love my Pontiac G8 GT.
Most powerful car you [could] buy for under US$30k! Need I say more?

Pros: What do you like about 2009 Pontiac G8?
I've only had mine for a couple months and as a truck guy I was very impressed with the masculine look of this car.
The sound system is banging and the sat radio is a must in all future purchases.
Still trying to figure everything out but very impressive.

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Pontiac G8?
Need no improvement, but if anything I think the side mirrors are too small and I would have like a standard DVD.

2009 Pontiac G8 Review:
This car was my pick over the Camaro and the Charger because of the 4 door and because they are so rare. I only found 5 within a 300 mi range from my house.

Pros: What do you like about 2009 Pontiac G8?
Great power and handling.
Great balance makes for easy oversteer correction.
Surprises "sports cars".
Fun to drive.
Reacts well to mods. (13.2's are less than 1000$ away)
You can steal tons of Camaro ss parts. ( rear diff, brembos, rims, etc)
No flash counter on ECM or TCM.

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Pontiac G8?
Manual option on gt's.
Afm delete option. (can be tuned out but this voids warranty so I'm told)
Louder exhaust. (solo performance fixed this for me)
Wider rear wheel wells to negate the need for custom offsets if going wider than 275's.

2009 Pontiac G8 Review:
This car is great. My mom can drive it to bingo and I can beat up on the ponies all in the same day. Fits four golf bags and a couple 2-4's and runs the 1/4 in 13.5 stock. You crazy Aussies. At least someone still makes cars the right way. Oi oi oi.

It's simply the best Pontiac I have ever owned.

The G8 is not good in the snow. GM should have made it awd.

Exterior trunk latch.
Memory seat settings.
Heated steering wheel.
Put it back on the market.

I want another in the manual transmission.
Only 1,829 out there. Rare and beautiful. Last and greatest Pontiac built.

Good power.
Excellent handling suspension.
Fun to drive.
Great value for the price.

Better sound system, and the glove box door needs better latching mechanism.

2009 Pontiac G8 Review:
Overall a good vehicle. I like the response of the V8 in traffic, (you know when traffic tries to box you in your lane, it gets out of the way of the "I'm gonna box you in drivers" ), I like it a lot!

It's a beautiful rare car, you do not see a lot of them around.
Great get up and go!
His and her shifter.
Very large trunk.

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Pontiac G8?
She loves the gas!
The panel underneath the drivers side keeps breaking, has been replaced 3 times in less then a year.

2009 Pontiac G8 Review:
I LOVE my G8, wouldn't trade it for anything. I had no idea about the G8 until the day I bought it. Previously owed a Grand Prix, sad to see Pontiac go. Was looking for the wow factor, and boy did I find it w/my G8!

Pros: What do you like about 2009 Pontiac G8?
Lots of power in the G8GT. 385 ft-lbs of torque is fun. Ditto for 361bhp.
Handles well for a car weighing 4000lbs.

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Pontiac G8?
Less interior trim than expected for a car at this price point. Need 8 way power seats. Need front reading lights. Need heated side mirrors. Need auto dimming mirror. Etc. Etc.

Also guzzles gas but that is expected with a V8.

I love everything about my GXP. The performance, style, and colors are very exciting.
I'm glad I got the automatic and not the 6 spd, I drove both and the auto wins hands down!
The quality of this car is great for a GM car.

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Pontiac G8?
I would like more power and let the mileage be damned!
I reallycam disappointed that Gm chose Buick instead of Pontiac butcI guess the old folks don't like the power etc.

Way above average power on regular gasoline.
Cat-like engine response.
Very comfortable bucket seats.
Quiet, smooth ride.
Beautiful front-end design.
BIG trunk.
Second row seating for real adults.
Except for corner handling, drives and responds like my C5.
Love the red backlighting.

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Pontiac G8?
Resetting individual parameters in the DIC rather than all
locking doors when still open like my Corvette (well, it does prevent you from using the fob and locking yourself out).
More drivetrain parameters in the DIC.

2009 Pontiac G8 Review:
Excellent vehicle. Everything that I would expect from Pontiac; sorry to see them go away. Drives like a 2-door coupe.
