Pros: What do you like about 2009 Toyota Matrix?
Bike fits in back.
Nice looking exterior.
Easy entry and exit for seniors.
Decent gas mileage for size.
Remote entry and lock.
Rear window washer and wiper.
Ease of raising and lowering rear seats.
Loyal to Toyota Brand.

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Toyota Matrix?
Poor visibility from front pillars and huge rear view mirrors, especially on driver's side. Also poor visibility in rear due to reduction of clear window space from previous models.

Accelerator pedal is extremely sensitive causing jump starts even after 9 months of driving.

The front console is too big and bulky which inhibits space to put things.

2009 Toyota Matrix Review:
The Matrix is just O.K. But, we are not as thrilled with it as we were and still are with our extremely dependable, low maintenance and high gas mileage 2000 Corolla.

Pros: What do you like about 2009 Toyota Matrix?
Traded in an SUV and after research, this seemed like a good fit for a scale down size. The possible cargo room makes good sense. Roomy feel. Love the cleanable seats and cargo area. Good features. Love the bigger side mirrors! It's actually a fun driving car! Going from 15 mpg to average of 24-27 is terrific.

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Toyota Matrix?
Not crazy about the blocked view area between the back seat and the cargo area of car. Could be a problem. Wish the base model had cruise control standard - cruise control helps with gas mileage. Since I view the Matrix for an active person, it would be great if roof rack were standard and there was a way to include a trailer hitch for trailer-type bike racks, plus an extra 12v in cargo area.

2009 Toyota Matrix Review:
So far, I am thrilled that I have the Matrix. It looks good and drives great. Great financing made it comfortable purchase.
