Pros: What do you like about 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit?
European Styling and handling.
Nice 5 speed manual.
Gobs of torque.
Fit and finish.
Price.
Scheduled maintenance included.
Quiet interior and comfortable seats.
Cons: How would you improve 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit?
Make body molding same color as car.
Radio controls on steering wheel.
There needs to be a middle ground car - 1.Rabbit, 2."Rabid", 3.GTI. You could turbo charge a regular Rabbit and make an understated pocket rocket! Think of a plain Rabbit with a turbo charged engine and 6 speed manual. Beef up the struts, springs, sway bars and you have a very fast yet understated performance car. The only clue to the performace would be the wheels/tires and a "crazy looking bunny" to replace the rabbit.
2009 Volkswagen Rabbit Review:
I bought my Rabbit two weeks ago and I love it. I owned a Ford Focus Zx4 ST (performance version) and I think this car blows it away in every way shape and form. It handles just as well, it's got more torque for city driving, fit and finish is superior, and it's much quieter on the highway.
Overall, this car compares with much more expensive vehicles in terms of fit, finish and styling.

Bigger side mirrors, more then one 12V power outlets in front and at least one for back passengers as well.

Incredible performance for a compact hatch.
An absolute blast to drive, extremely responsive and with exceptional handling.
Will squeak tires shifting to second gear under full acceleration.
Cons: How would you improve 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit?
The improvements that would be made would push this out of the price range that it seeks to live in. This is an exceptional car for the pricing. That being said, a six speed manual would be nice, maybe a built in 8-10 inch subwoofer to complement the stock system.
2009 Volkswagen Rabbit Review:
Extremely peppy, a lot of fun to drive. Dash is very sexy, sound is great. Quirky auxiliary port, but I appreciate the fact that it is included in the stock system. A lot of attention to detail on this car, very well put together, very sturdy handling. I would recommend this car to those interested in the hatchback body styling.

Rabbit evolved from a cheap low-end college beater in the 90s to a handsome high-end economy car.

Improve the longevity of the light bulbs.
2009 Volkswagen Rabbit Review:
My Rabbit is a luxury car compared to other small cars out there.
I don't know why the light bulbs go out so frequently, but other than that, it has been trouble free.
I love my Rabbit. I enjoy driving it every day.
