2010 Buick LaCrosse Review:
Took car in for oil change and got it back and driver seat wouldn't work. That was 3 days ago, no call from dealer, had to call them and they said part was on order.

Great Looking Car inside and out.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Buick LaCrosse?
This car has some serious electrical and possibly mechanical problems. I have owned the car for less than 5 months and yesterday it started to sputter and hesitate and then finally came to a complete stop as I was on my way to the dealership to have it look it. And I had to have it towed to the dealership. Turns out there was some sort of electrical problem, which in turn damaged the catalytic converter. Bottom line, there is no reason that a car with less than 10,000 miles on it should ever break down on the side of the road.
2010 Buick LaCrosse Review:
GM got the looks of this car and all the bells an whistles right, but they really need go back to the drawing board on the mechanics of this car.

2010 Buick LaCrosse Review:
Have a hesitation first thing in the morning and after car has been sitting for a couple of hours - very bad pulling out in to traffic.
Also only GETTING 9.2 mpg city driving. I have 3.0L v6 and was suppose to get 14 to 20 mpg city. It has been in the shop twice and all is correct to factory specs. I calculate mpg manually miles driven by gal of gas each fill up. They cannot understand that because the computer says different. It is like talking to a brick wall.
Only have 900 miles on engine as of 12/25/2010.

I've owned my 2010 (new) for only 2 weeks and the vehicle starts with a long "Pang" when I turn the ignition.
Also the alignment feels off, - when I reach 88kms to 92kms I begin to feel a vibration in the steering column, I tried different roads and surfaces to see whether that contributed.
Somewhat alarmed as again I've driven a total of 5 trips at approx. 80kms each and I'm noticing this already.
My oil indicator already says the the oil life is at 50% - Is this because it came right off the line?

Everything, but noise that come from under the rear of the car when I go over the smallest bumps, sounds like bowling go on under there. Brought back to dealer check everything under the car, said everything is tight, checked tail pipes and spare. Brought it to muffler shop to see what they could see (some times it sound like tail pipe hitting the floor). He checked everything, said it was ok. Anybody have any Ideas?

Somehow tighten up the rear end.

6 speed tranny that is constantly shifting! When you try to accelerate (floor it) the car will hesitate for a full 3 seconds while it downshifts 2 or 3 gears. That's dangerous on a busy freeway when your trying to switch lanes! I will never buy another 6 speed automatic.

You can't beat the style.

There is some hesitation in the motor when trying to accelerate quickly. Maybe the more powerful engine would be great in the CXL.
The trunk operation could use a makeover. It is sometimes not catching and requires "slamming".
2010 Buick LaCrosse Review:
I have had my LaCrosse CXL for about seven months now. Overall, it is "the" car to have. It turns heads all the time. Everyone wants to know about it. The ins-and-outs of the car is is just breathtaking.
However, I have and still is experiencing a problem that GMC doesn't seem able to explain. Within the last month, on "three" separate occasions, the car have just shut itself down while I was traveling along the highways/interstates. It seems that the transmission just disengaged itself, thus resulting in my inability to maintain constant acceleration of the car. The loss of mechanical power, along with the loss of electrical power created a very dangerous situation for me and my family. We are lucky, mostly blessed, that there was not some big 18-wheeler riding our butt at full speed when the car decided to die!
The dealer/service department has had the car for the last two weeks and can't seem to put their finger on the cause of this problem. They say that they have never seen "this" before. Hopefully, this is just a one-time incident for this model car; and maybe
I got the runt-of-the bunch. At the present time, I am scared to death to even get back in the car! My life and safety was in jeopardy, not once or twice, but three times before I was able to convince them (Buick service department) that we definitely have a problem here.
Overall, it is a super car!!

I purchased the cxs model with all the options except for the rear dvd. Have the car a little over a week and really love the car! Handles great, interior is very luxurious. A head turner where ever you go!

Nothing really with car. Dealerships (which are actually Independent of GM) need to listen to customers better and provide better service.
2010 Buick LaCrosse Review:
This Is truly great car. I am young and wife is too. She was a Buick "hater" and absolutely loves this car and Enclave. The inside is phenomenal with soft touch surfaces and expensive looking materials. The AWD is a great feature for her in winter. I would recommend this car to anyone considering the Lexus..a better buy and a better car.

Truly a luxury car better than my wife's Lexus, with the exception of one thing.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Buick LaCrosse?
If you happen to have the computer (USB port) and use it to listen to music, it is worthless. The system defaults to factory settings every time you turn the car off. It's like your radio going to a default station every time the car is turned off and you have to re-program it every time you get in the car. Lexus, Camry, and Honda don't have this issue. I talked with Buick and they have no answer for it. It's just a blunder with the software and they hope to be able to fix it.
