Pros: What do you like about 2010 Chevrolet Malibu?
The vehicle looks very sporty for a "Family Sedan" especially the LTZ model with its well styled 18" wheels.
The ride is very smooth, quiet and comfortable seats are a big plus.
A nice dash/cockpit layout enhanced by the excellent two tone interior and leather seating surfaces give the Malibu LTZ an air of refined sophistication.
The 2.4 ltr. engine gives the car good pep and the paddle shifter on the column adds a bit of zoom when needed.
The care handles really well almost too well due to a bit of over-steer, but is very responsive to any situation.
Test drove the Accord but decided on the Malibu due to its better interior design, roominess and overall looks of the Malibu LTZ compared with the much smaller Accord.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Chevrolet Malibu?
As the other reviewer said the rear could be better designed, and by that only a change in the tail lights, not the shape of the rear is needed.
The car has a low opening and taller folks find it a bit difficult to enter the vehicle.
2010 Chevrolet Malibu Review:
Malibu LTZ is by far an outstanding car, many double takes are noticed while driving and the car couldn't be more comfortable. Great gas mileage makes one think they have a sort of "green vehicle" averaging up to 36 miles per gallon highway traveling at 70 mph.
Chevy has a real winner in the Malibu!!

Pros: What do you like about 2010 Chevrolet Malibu?
I purchased a 2010 Malibu about a week ago. I have no real complaints with it.
Gas is better than I got with my Camry and the Camry had 4 cyl in it. I felt like I always was "pushing" may Camry. The 6 cyl in the Malibu lets you be in charge.
The handling of the car is great.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Chevrolet Malibu?
Hard to get in for me and I am 5 10.
Buttons on the steering wheel are too small. Always have to look down.
2010 Chevrolet Malibu Review:
I think the Malibu is going to give the Camry a run for the money. The reason why I looked is because the extra 1K they were giving customers to trade in their Toyota. Very Surprised since it is a an "American" car.

Pros: What do you like about 2010 Chevrolet Malibu?
Ext. styling.
Quiet smooth ride.
36 radio presets.
Interior lighting.
Interior storage.
Cruise control.
Paddle shifters.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Chevrolet Malibu?
Offer it also as a coupe w/6 speed manual trans.
Use LED dome and map lights.
Raise the headlights. As delivered I could not drive at 40 mph on a rural road and when I drove with the high beams on, they did not bother the oncoming traffic.
2010 Chevrolet Malibu Review:
I own a LT1, silky smooth, quiet. Taupe Gray Metallic does not show dirt. Ebony interior is more subtle than the available two tone combos.

2010 Chevrolet Malibu Review:
Within the past 2 months I bought a Malibu for myself and a Honda Accord for my wife. We are completely satisfied with both cars.
We really enjoy driving them.

Pros: What do you like about 2010 Chevrolet Malibu?
Car is very tight and agile.
Interior is elegant despite patches of plastic.
Gas mileage is averaging 30mpg.
Trunk can carry at least two golf bags comfortably ... much better than our 2004 Malibu that barely handled one.
I am now a huge fan of OnStar.
I love the 36 radio pre-sets that allow you to intermingle XM, FM and AM bands.
MP3 input on dash is convenient.
Fit and finish are excellent.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Chevrolet Malibu?
Add memory seats as an option.
Tiny buttons on steering wheel for cruise control and radio distract the driver.
Low opening makes it difficult for older tall drivers to enter.
Somewhat sluggish acceleration.
2010 Chevrolet Malibu Review:
Have owned a Malibu 2LT for a week and already have put 1200 miles on it. It is a great looking car and a good buy. Acceleration is adequate but not as good as our 2004 Malibu. Great trunk space for a small car.

Pros: What do you like about 2010 Chevrolet Malibu?
The wheelbase length makes for a ride that is absolutely incredible.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Chevrolet Malibu?
I have never in my life witnessed cheaper (aka; .15 plastic) interior door panels, turn indicator/wipers stalk. Deal-breaker for me.
2010 Chevrolet Malibu Review:
Overall impressed with the engine, the exterior look and the ride. But there are plenty of other cars in the 21-23K market that actually have decent plastic in the interior. I could care less about the "new" way the windshield is put in, or that the interior is modeled after the 195X Corvette......I wasn't even alive in 195X, besides most sedans have that same teardrop shape to the dash that the corvette had. Where you sit, and the interior that you see all the time should look halfway decent. Too bad it doesn't.

Pros: What do you like about 2010 Chevrolet Malibu?
Malibu is a solid but an average car.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Chevrolet Malibu?
Other than the fact that Malibu is an "American" car, nothing really distinguishes it from other mid-sized sedan. Accord has its reputation as a sporty, four-door mid-sized sedan. Camry has its reputation as a reliable family car (I wonder how forgiving the public is going to be with the whole floor mat issue). Chevy Malibu is, well, a Malibu. All the commercials compare it to other mid-sized sedan, especially the Camry. Sure, Malibu is slightly more fuel efficient. And OK, it does have OnStar. But they are not convincing enough for me to switch. At least Taurus has its "ecoboost" engine, which sounds cool.
2010 Chevrolet Malibu Review:
Malibu hasn't won me over yet. After test driving all the popular mid-sized car choices, I am sticking with Accord. Unless Chevy comes up with something convincing, that is.

Pros: What do you like about 2010 Chevrolet Malibu?
Have had an LTZ for two weeks.
Adequate room except for a Christmas tree.
Ebony interior is black & elegant.
Got 34 mgp in a head wind.
Noise of a 4 cylinder is not noticeable.
Instrument panel switches set up similar to my 07 Buick so learning curve was short.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Chevrolet Malibu?
Upshifting and downshifting is not smooth, a little rough but tolerable.
Needs memory seats and backup sensors as options.
Well appointed vehicle for a mid-size.
The arm rest on the console is behind where I keep my arm.
The storage bin cover is hard to open.
2010 Chevrolet Malibu Review:
I have had 7 Malibus that go back to the 60s. This is by far the best one, I had not planned to trade my 04 Maxx, but fell in love with the 2010 the moment I drove it. Interior is well laid out, and I suspect has very similar room to my Buicks. This redesigned vehicle is well thought out.

Pros: What do you like about 2010 Chevrolet Malibu?
I like most the the exterior look, except the back.
Inside is roomy and comfortable. Pretty quiet, too.
The engine is adequate.
Handling is just ok. Accord was far superior in this department.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Chevrolet Malibu?
Why did they have to put such ugly looking back lights?
What happened to the nice and sturdy plastic stuff they used in GM cars in the 80s?
2010 Chevrolet Malibu Review:
Fringe - what a brilliant idea to showcase Malibu in the first episode of the show? The car looked great in the show. Not the back, but the front was like nothing else from GM before. Got me hooked, and made me look.
Chevy designers can learn a thing or two from VW on designing a good looking rear end.
Is it just too expensive to put nice and hard plastic inside anymore? A minor contact with backpack and purse left scratches that won't come out. Is GM cutting costs on these things now days?
