Pros: What do you like about 2010 Dodge Journey?
My 2010 Dodge Journey R/T AWD is a very nice vehicle.
My wife and I love the gps, the u-connect -blue tooth,
back-up camera and all the radio function especially the series channel.
This vehicle handles very well on the highway and gives a good ride.
We like the heated mirrors and various options on it.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Dodge Journey?
Would like to see power- folding mirrors next time.
Would like to see better pick up in the future model.
Also memory seats, steering would be nice on the R/T model.
Overall this vehicle would be very hard to beat by the competition.

A very well put together vehicle.
We would recommend the Journey R/T model awd. to anyone who loves to drive a nice riding and handling vehicle.
We have the car for a year now and everything works very well on our model.
I have tested driven the Buick Enclave and the
handling on the Journey R/T awd. is very similar. But the Journey is priced well in the market place.
Big difference between se or sxt too R.t. awd model.
All in all, a very nice car, Dodge Journey a.w.d. R.T for 2010.

Pros: What do you like about 2010 Dodge Journey?
The 2010 Journey R/T drives like a dream. It is a very good highway car and I have no complaints about what so ever.
This car gives you many features in the R/t model and they all work well.
We have this car for two years and only TAKE THE CAR IN FOR REGULAR MAINTENANCE AS DESCRIBED IN THE MANUAL.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Dodge Journey?
I personally would like to see a better quality leather seats.
Power folding exterior mirrors.
Power hatch in the back to help when carrying groceries.
Also would like to see memory seats, steering wheel and mirrors.
2010 Dodge Journey Review:
This car is very hard to beat on the market place for the price and features it has.
I find this car runs very well and the rest of the comments that some people put against the Journey they must be driving the 4 cylinder cheap model that can be had for $15,000 new. Of course, you will not get the same quality as the R/T top model- it is just common sense?-- you get what you spend.

I purchased the cheapest brand leftover new (no miles) 4 cylinder 2010 Dodge Journey I could find for $18,100 in January 2011 and in Novembe 2011. I have 15,000 miles on it.
I too have received all of the Chrysler threatening "bad news" letters about the brakes and the shift lever (sticks in reverse!). Not a secure future feeling.
However, it does everything expected and more for the price as all I have done is oil changes (3,000 miles). My 1995 Nissan Maxima (240,000 miles) cost $21K new in '95. A new one costs twice as much today--buy a Dodge Journey and hang on!!!!! Don't pay over $20,000 for one though!!!
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Dodge Journey?
Build a car (Chrysler) that you don't have to warn the buyer about after he purchases it with his hard earned money and can't return it.
The tire story is a true future nightmare as you hear nothing but horror stories,i.e., hard to find, not readily available, over-priced ($300.00+) and on and on.(read reviews).

The shift lever story (sticks in "R") has been fixed on the 2012 models, so I am told. (Redesigned)
More and more advertisements for Dodge Journey seem to appear now and the prices have gone up too. This car could become really popular but the "fear of the unknown" would certainly make me think openly about choosing another brand, even if I had to spend more money. I would like to feel like I could take it on a long trip with peace of mind.
Again though, if you want to drive for many highway miles and "like crazy" in and around your own neighborhood --this car can't be beaten for the money--mileage is not bad either!!!!! Any other used SUV will cost you more.

Sleek design.
Good mileage performance.
Eco works well when you follow up.
Very spacious.
Interior dash is cool.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Dodge Journey?
1) Cup holders on 7 seaters too far to reach.
2) u-connect button should be on the steering wheel for less distraction.
3) Battery keeps on dying when radio is left ON for more then 1/2 hour without engine on....never happened on any other vehicles I owned.
2010 Dodge Journey Review:
I own rtX/AWD, 7 seater - few changes on glitches would make it worth what I paid for. Otherwise I would go for Lexus AWD for a few more dollars.

Pros: What do you like about 2010 Dodge Journey?
Spacious interior great for getting around with 7 passengers, ideally 4 adults and 3 kids or 2 adults and 5 kids.
Lots of hidden compartments to provide extra storage.
Also great for moving stuff around as the rear seats split and fold flat.
Very nice looking vehicle, inside and out.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Dodge Journey?
I wouldn't consider this car for city driving as it becomes quite the gas guzzler however it is good on gas on highways.
** Buyer beware **
My biggest beef are the rear brakes. After 40,000 kms and 16-months in, they were all but shredded.

A lovely vehicle which I would gladly purchase again if they fixed the issue with the rear brakes.

SEATING IS GREAT.

GET IMPROVED GAS MILEAGE.
REAR VIEW MIRROR MAKE LARGER.
HAVE AUTOMATIC FOLDING SIDE MIRRORS.
HAVE A COLDER AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM.

Nice looking.
Like the ride and handling.
Like the storage in back, we have the 5 seat version.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Dodge Journey?
Gas Mileage sucks.
First night we had it home the Cruise Control acted up, going down a hill it is suppose to gear down so you don't go over the speed you have set. It geared down, but kept gearing down till the engine was revving around 4 to 5 thousand and until we shut the cruise off. Said never heard of this happening before and it had to go to Chrysler engineering to get a fix for it, took 3 months before it was fixed.
Wipers bounce across the windshield, Replaced once already under warranty and should be replace again.
Rear brake pads and rotors replaced at 26,000 and front ones already have a vibration on them, will probably need to be replaced under the extended warranty (Hopefully).
Front Door on Passenger side got stuck open, the spring loaded stop near the hinges was made wrong and ended up jamming the door open. We were told we must have let the door swing to far. After showing them the difference between the drivers door and the passenger door they replaced the unit.
One day went out and Journey wouldn't start, had to have it towed to the dealer and they charged battery to get it going.
Had it in for an oil change and we were told they would have to replace a unit on the rear end (All Wheel Drive) because it was leaking. Two trips to the dealer before finally fixed right.
When we bought the vehicle we were told we would have to do an oil change between 5,000 and 10,000 km depending on how hard it is driven, our first oil change was done early because we had it in around 5000 km to fix the cruise and told them that they might as well change the oil since it was close to that time anyway, the next oil change went almost 10,000 and then the next one went at 4,500 km. Our driving does not change and it just doesn't seem to make sense???
I'm sure I'm missing something else!!!
2010 Dodge Journey Review:
We like the vehicle, we just hate all the issues that we had with a new vehicle. We bought a new one so we would not be spending time at a dealer, but this is not the case... Wouldn't recommend a Journey to anyone after all the issues we had, just wish they would come and take it and give me my money back...

Brakes--Front pads and rotors replaced under extended warranty
but rear pads and rotors are not covered and should be, anyone else having problems with Chrysler in this matter?

It is spacious and handles well on dry or wet roads. It is very smooth as well. I have been getting 600km per tank so the mileage is ok.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Dodge Journey?
It needs better brakes and rotors. The tires are crap. They fill up with snow and you can't stop. It took me 50ft to stop on wet snow. THE CONDENSER EASILY IS AFFECTED BY ROCKS AND THAT IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. SO MY AIR CONDITIONING DOESN'T WORK.

I like the look of the Dodge Journey, but if they don't improve the above problems, I don't believe I will purchase another one in the future.

Too many blind spots.
Need bigger mirrors.
Better gas mileage.

I bought the Journey because I liked the way it looked and drove, and I couldn't pass up the price.
I just wish the gas mileage was better.
Oh well.
I still got a good deal on it, saving thousands compared to other SUVs.
