Put outside temp gauge in the car. My Camry had it. It was wonderful.
The head rests are too much forward.

Trans is no good, I will be surprised if it lasts passed 70k miles. Currently on my 2nd trans, which took 4 visits to the shop to figure out that I needed a new trans, and actually it has just gone in recently for a trans leak.

Pros: What do you like about 2010 Ford Fusion?
I like that it gets decent mileage. I get 35 mpg on the highway here in the glorious hills of western North Carolina and get around 25 mpg when I travel around the great city of Asheville.
I bought this to replace a 1995 Escort that had 225K miles on it. The money I save on gas helps me pay for the money I've lost because of George Bush's Medicaid Part D.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Ford Fusion?
I would make it not look so boxy. It needs better style. It reminds me of the Fairmont I owned before I got my Escort.
I don't like the headlamps and wheel covers and the seats are too cushiony for my large frame.

It has great power(V6) and a nice quiet ride with quick handling response on rough roads, in tight cornering.
Plus fantastic MPG's!
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Ford Fusion?
Fusion needs more fender flair or built in splash guards to keep road dirt off the sides of car. I added splash guards to help minimize this problem.
2010 Ford Fusion Review:
I bought the SE V6 4 months ago and I must say I have never owned a better car. I just returned from a 1K trip on I-95 at 70+ mph and averaged 29+ MPG ....the car has great performance and near perfect ride & handling.
The cars fit and finish is about flawless. My wife and I agree that we don't get "road fatigue", as much on long trips in this Fusion as with other cars we have owned in the past.
I can't understand why anyone would buy an imported car when the 2010 Ford's are the very best cars on the road. If you don't believe it, just drive one.....then YOU will know!

I bought mine a month ago.
Road warrior, comfortable driving car, mine is loaded with leather, Sync, blis, back up camera.
Love the styling of the front end, chrome is easy to clean the Carolina bugs off.
Was a prior Camry owner until the company mis-led owners. Twice the car with more standard options.
Especially like the keyless entry and 6 speed trans 4cyl.
Car is averaging 32-34 mpg hwy not so good 24 mpg city.

I would love to know how to stop the miles on the OD from adding up, very enjoyable car to drive, red is a head turner.

As a lifetime Ford owner this is without a doubt the best Ford I have seen in years!! It is fun to drive, if my wife ever lets me!
We have the SEL model and it loaded with everything we could
possibly ask for.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Ford Fusion?
Would have given this car straight 5's except the back seats
should be able to pull down from inside the car. Although it
seems a minor thing, but it is just one more step needed to lower the rear seats.

Its style. Aggressive front end, Mercedes/Lexus (i.e.expensive) looking rear end. Looks expensive without being so.
The interior is very nice and "Sync" is pretty amazing!

Improve the ride. It seems a little "Stiff legged" to me, and the seats are hard. More cushion, please!
It would be nice if the rear seat lifted upward to allow the seat back to lie flat. Plenty of trunk space as is though. I'd like to see rear seatback release points inside the car rather than inside the trunk. Seems like an extra step to put the seat back down.

I chose 5 for all category ratings because the car fills the niche I bought it for perfectly. I'm looking forward to the 2012 model year when I will move up from an "SE" to an "SEL". Thank you Ford for a great car!

2010 Ford Fusion Review:
I seriously doubt that Fusion deserved to be the car of the year. Even though I like the Motor Trend magazine, but sometimes I seriously doubt their motive. My guess is that Motor Trend wanted a car from Detroit to win this award, and Fusion is probably the only worthy car.
Ford needs to step up when they are creating the next Fusion. The Taurus looks like a great car, and I feel bad that the Taurus is not selling well. The next generation Fusion can be a winner, if Ford decided to design a car better than its competitors. Now it seems like Hyundai Sonata is going to be the one to beat. Of course, if Fusion can be better than Accord or Camry, then that would be even better.

2010 Ford Fusion Review:
I am very happy that my Fusion won the car of the year award. I cannot say Fusion is a perfect car (thus cannot give 5's on ratings), but I am glad I bought it.
For those people who think that the design looks blend, I have to completely disagree. Just the fact that in my neighborhood, everyone drives either Accord or Camry, Fusion stands out! I especially like the design of the front. The rear end can have more edgy look.
Overall, I can honestly recommend Fusion to anyone. As a previous import driver, I can contest that this car stands up to the challenge.

Large trunk and storage space.
Comfortable heated leather seats.
Loaded with everything I wanted and need.

Maybe a sleeker looking rear end.

2010 Ford Fusion Review:
I just picked up my new car after waiting for 2 months. This car is fantastic! I got the 2.5 SEL with Sport Appearance Package and Moons & Tunes (Canada). The Sony audio system is great. My car is black with leather and 18" wheels with Goodyear performance tires, sport-tuned suspension, spoiler and remote start. The front grill is black (not chrome)and the windows are tinted. It looks pretty mean, but the back end could be improved. Even the dealer hadn't seen one of these and wanted to order a few for the lot. I did a lot of research before buying and this has to be the best car for the value. I have yet to see another car like mine on the road.
