Pros: What do you like about 2010 Ford Taurus?
Everything.
Lots of cool features.
My kids love the changing color lights and the screen on the mirror is helpful and creative.
LOTS of leg room in front but not so much in the back.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Ford Taurus?
Bulky and windows are too high up.

Pros: What do you like about 2010 Ford Taurus?
Once I make it inside, I am impressed with the comfort and increased leg-room and head room. It is am improvement over my 2006 Taurus SE.
My 2010 Taurus is an SEL which has almost all the extras I would want. I noticed the increased leg-room in the rear seats and increased comfort over the 2006.
The trunk is a great cavern of great space! The hinges no longer poke down into the trunk space.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Ford Taurus?
I am still getting used to entering and leaving the car. If only the door openings were a little bit taller, I wouldn't keep banging my head. The rear door entrances are improved over my 2006 Ford Taurus but I still feel like a contortionist trying to gracefully get in and out.
I would feel better about the resting place for my left foot if it were just a little bit more to the left, like in my 2006.
The styling works better for the inside than for the outside which I find just slightly awkward looking, especially from the rear.

Exterior styling.
Interior luxury.
SYNC. Needs a bit to get used to. But once we did, it's fantastic.
Quiet interior, driving and standing.

Feels a bit heavy. Maybe should've bought SHO.
2010 Ford Taurus Review:
I believe this version of Taurus to be the best car that Ford has produced. Ever.
I got burnt with reliability issues last time I bought a Ford, so I leased this one. So far very happy with it.

I OWN a 2010 SHO and believe me this car is fantastic, 363 Hp and a ton of torque, thats MORE than my Mach 1 mustang.
It is designed to be the big brother of the Fusion and succeeds.
Rides great, nice and tight.
Handles great, shifts are super smooth and barely noticeable.
Fit and finish is excellent.
The paddle shifters are plastic, but so what? You just pull or push with little force.
The critics here don't sound like they even own one.

Sexy interior and Quiet and I mean Quiet ride.
Nice packages with lots of safety features.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Ford Taurus?
Agree with other review. Put on a diet and lower and reduce the size of the trunk to allow more back seat room. I also didn't care for the exterior color selections. (Too many DARK colors).
Replace cheap Matell plastic shifter paddles. Front end is also a bit large and the doors need side molding. (I park in public garage) Guess I will need to find some custom molding. The cheap looking plastic below doors needs a sportier look but I guess I'm a bit picky.
2010 Ford Taurus Review:
Very nice machine overall. I give it an 8.5 out of 10. I was a Pontiac owner until GM took tax payer money. I admire Ford for not needing help. THANK YOU FORD!

Engine potential.
All wheel drive option.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Ford Taurus?
Put on diet.
Reduce confusion in front grill and fender area.
Looks like it is trying to do a continuous nose dive.
Lower the rear deck.
Make the overall shape less bulky, bland and rounded.
Rear end bulky, reduce.
Add sportier form.
Make look less like a minivan with a chopped top.
2010 Ford Taurus Review:
Very heavy feel, drives very much the same. The Taurus is an attempt to get into the luxury car market, the SHO is feeble attempt to sport-up a big heavy luxury sedan. After you get past the front miss mash, design flows fairly well until it gets to the rear fender. By the time you get to the trunk it appears that the ideas ran out and the decision was to just chop off the rear end and call it a day. Nice try, but another big miss from the Ford car design team.

I would give the base model the 3.7 liter engine that's in the Mazda cx-9.
