Interior styling.
Back up camera on the mirror.

Gas mileage is good, better than what I was getting in my F150, but I think it should be closer to what they advertise. Especially since I'm a soft foot driver. I average 24-25 on highway, not close enough to 32...
2010 GMC Terrain Review:
We bought a 2011 Equinox over a month ago and loved it so much we figured we'd buy another one. We got the Terrain because my wife and I didn't want to be driving identical vehicles. She has an LT2 Equinox, I have an SLE2 Terrain. We are both very satisfied.

We like the looks.
Drives great.

The gas millage is very poor.
We have leather upholstery, and we have had both front seats replaced. The new seats are worse than the original. The leather is all rippled. Should have gotten cloth seats. we have had at least 12 GMC products without this problem. wish we could return it.

Re-design dash.....looks like a soccer mom mini-van.
MPG is no where near what they claim.
2010 GMC Terrain Review:
For the money, this is a fine vehicle. I'm averaging 20 mpg, but I don't really work at "efficient" driving. I like the body style, distinct, masculine, but the interior is the exact opposite. The flimsy release for the storage compartment in the middle of the upper dash is pitiful. The cheap looking chrome everywhere, the huge GMC logo----these are all remnants of the old American design thinking. Time to get classy!

Pros: What do you like about 2010 GMC Terrain?
Lot's of room, I am 6'7" and I can sit front and back with no complaints about head or leg room.
Lot's of extra little features, like the integrated USB, Rear view camera, red light dash making it easy on the eyes for night driving, great sound system standard, and a lot more.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 GMC Terrain?
Make it rear wheel drive primarily instead of FWD. I have the AWD version, and it's still a FWD until it senses that it needs to kick in the AWD. Would prefer it to be RWD and kicks in the front wheels when needed.
2010 GMC Terrain Review:
A great vehicle, have had zero problems with mine in the year that I have had it except for one chrome piece bubbling, and that was replaced under warranty no questions asked.

Not the gas mileage stated.
Need more comfortable seats, I have the leather.
Uncomfortable on a long trip.
2010 GMC Terrain Review:
Purchased the 2010 SLT on 12/2/2009.
At 3000 mi, I heard a noise that continued to get worse. It sounds like the valves "chattering". Had it in to the local dealer (I didn't buy from him) and they said that they couldn't find anything and I should drive it until it tore up.
Had the Chevy dealership look at it and they could not find the problem but told me to try a higher grade of gas. I did and it helped but it didn't cut out all the chattering.
On a few occasions, the transmission jerks hard when changing into the last gear. I've been really fed up with these problems.
With all that said, on 12/2/2010, I hit a deer. All the air bags popped out along with damage to the front. It is now going on 3 months and the body repairman cannot get the parts! What he has received, has come in a piece at the time. It is beyond me and him, as to why you cannot get parts for a vehicle that's 2 years old.

I have the 6 cylinder. I have 8300 miles on it. Gas mileage in town is 14 and hwy is 19. Took it to the dealer and they said nothing is wrong with it. If I had known I was going to get this poor of gas mileage, I would have bought another vehicle.
You have to hold the remote start down for at least 5 seconds for the vehicle to start.
The second seating row doesn't lay flat.
Power door locks are in a weird place.

Gas mileage is nowhere stated. Remote start doesn't always work. I would not buy this again because the gas mileage is not as stated.

We enjoy the hands free calling plus the use of ON STAR.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 GMC Terrain?
Who would build a vehicle without a home link, this caused us to purchase a new opener just for our 2010 Terrain SLT2.
We have leather seats and have had to replace the front seats with only 4000 miles on vehicle, and will be taking it back again. The leather buckles and is not comfortable.
My wife complains of a large blind spot when looking to the right she is talking about the window post.
What happened to the mileage? We 25.2 to 25.6 not the 28 to 32 we expected.

Smooth drive.
Decent power for 4 cyl model.

Very low front spoiler for SUV, hits curbs.
GM doesn't make steel rims (for snow tires) yet bolt pattern is unique.
NOT good gas mileage as advertised.
