Roomy back seat.
Smooth drive.
Decent power for 4 cyl model.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 GMC Terrain?
Very low front spoiler for SUV, hits curbs.
GM doesn't make steel rims (for snow tires) yet bolt pattern is unique.
NOT good gas mileage as advertised.

Drives ok.
Reasonably comfortable.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 GMC Terrain?
Terrible gas mileage. Already have 21000 Ks so that's not the problem. GM says 6.1 per 100ks ACTUAL IS 10.6 PER 100Ks. Big concern for me.
Also find a lot of blind spots in both sides. Recommend blind spot alert to be standard equipment.

It is roomy and comfortable.
Stylish dash with everything easily accessible.

It is a little noisy, so would like that to be taken care of.

Love the looks and the leg room.
Back-up camera.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 GMC Terrain?
Chrome latch on the storage box reflects the sun.
Not getting the gas mileage advertised.
Gas tank needs to be on the driver's side.
Seat belt is hard to buckle - console is in the way.
Needs a chrome package - vehicle would look so much better with chrome around the wheel wells.

I bought the SLT-1 V6 AWD Terrain in White.
Here's what I love:
Exterior look: I added the chrome grill and door handles.
Power of the V6.
Rear view camera.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 GMC Terrain?
The interior leather (two-toned gray and black) is horrible quality! Has anyone else noticed their leather is already looking like it's 5 years old? I rarely have passengers and all seats looks bad. It's stretched out, wrinkled, and just looks bad.
There is a TSB (Bulletin) out about it, but I'm waiting for the information on a recall. It is that bad and very frustrating. Especially since this isn't the first vehicle that they've put leather in.
They must have cut cost corners with a new supplier.

I purchased the new Terrain when it first came out in October. It has been in the shop more than I have drove it!!!! I can't trust it to even go to the grocery store with out it dying and can't get it started.

I have the SLT2 and have been well pleased with the package the came with the SLT2. My wife loves the back-up camera and the electronics especially the GPS system. The main reason I chose the Terrain was the projected 32 miles per gallon. It took me three months to get the SLT2 with front wheel dr and a 4 cylinder engine and the color we wanted. I was looking forward to the 32 mpg. Took a trip from Myrtle Beach SC to Florida using the Interstate or four lane rds. and maintaining a speed between 60-65 mph. and the best I got was 24.7 mpg. This was a real disappointment for me and represents false advertising from GM. Had I known the true mpg. I would not have purchased the Terrain. My Toyota Sienna gave me almost 23 mpg, so I didn't improve much for the $32,000 I invested.
2010 GMC Terrain Review:
It is a great vehicle to drive, but so are many other new ones. As indicated above, I am disappointed in the performance on the road. There are many 6 cylinders that will give you 24 mpg. and that is basically all I am getting with a 4 cylinder.

Red illumination lights make it harder to see/read.
Gas fill needs to be on driver side.
No power seats for passenger.
No dual climate control.
No home link.
No automated tail gate lift.
2010 GMC Terrain Review:
This is my first American made car and I am very disappointed with the quality of the car. I have to go back to foreign made cars....Sorry GMC.
