Pros: What do you like about 2010 Kia Forte?
Looks and performance.

Cons: How would you improve 2010 Kia Forte?
Tires from factory are very poor in winter, even with traction control, it handles very poorly in snow to almost the point of dangerous. The wheels capture snow inside and take them way out of balance. For $18,000, I expect a little more but then again it does have air bags to compensate for poor handling.

Looks nice outside.

Cons: How would you improve 2010 Kia Forte?
Plastic inside is CHEAP and scratches if you touch it.
No HD radio, factory speakers are total trash.
Bumpy ride reminds you this is a low end car.
Very sluggish driving experience: ghosts of the Spectra.

2010 Kia Forte Review:
I test drove the Forte twice but decided not to buy one. I'd rather stick with my Dodge Neon: just as noisy and junky but there is no car payment and I put in HD radio (not subscription fee) and Infinity Speakers so my junk car has better music than a New Forte. The Neon has more pep as well.

Huge regret buying this piece of junk. Looks are so deceiving and this car keeps proving that to me.

Pros: What do you like about 2010 Kia Forte?
The fuel econ pack is definitely worth it. I'm saving money on gas so I can't complain.
The car rides smooth and handles nice.
The interior is bigger than the Mazda 3. I loved my Mazda 3 and was going to get another one but the dealers wouldn't come down in price that I was looking for and to be honest I couldn't get over that smiling grill.
Trunk space is great.
The sat radio is great and the sound system is awesome.
Very little road noise however, read below.

Cons: How would you improve 2010 Kia Forte?
My only complaint is the Bluetooth. When driving at 40 mph and higher and speaking, the folks on the other end say it sounds like I'm in a wind tunnel and they can't hear me. I wish there was a way to reduce the noise or improve the bluetooth.

LIKE THE OVERALL FEEL OF THE CAR AND WE CAME FROM BMW TO A FORTE.
THINK IT IS EXCELLENT VALUE, AT LEAST SO FAR.

FIND BETTER DEALERS TO SELL THE PRODUCTS. RICHMOND KIA FRANKLY IS SLOPPY WITH THEIR PAPERWORK AND FLATOUT DON'T TELL THE TRUTH OR DELIVER ON THEIR PROMISES.

Good fuel economy.
Nice design.
That's about it.

Cons: How would you improve 2010 Kia Forte?
I have the 5sp. auto with overdrive. Car has a vibration and roar between 38 and 49 mph. It will run you up a wall if you are in 40 or 45 mph speed zone.

Factory rep. says this is normal operation for this car, BULL! If this is so they have a real problem. No car is supposed vibrate and roar as it motors down the road. Factory acknowledges the problem but refuses to do anything about it.

I will never purchase another KIA. BY the way, What's the warranty for?

Looks good inside and out, good gas consumption, and handles good.
Warranty and price and sales person was very helpful.
The step for your left foot is comfortable.
I like the bluetooth.

Cons: How would you improve 2010 Kia Forte?
The interior has a plastic look to it and yes it does scratch easy.
Electronic stability control should be standard on base model, only because it is a safety issue.
Improve suspension.

2010 Kia Forte Review:
Only regret is I got the base model and should have gotten the next model up. Suggestion: put a cup holder that you pull out on the left side of the steering wheel in the dash!

Overall satisfied so far!

I really like the design, it stands out and I get loads of complements.

It doesn't feel like a compact, parked next to a Jetta it's much larger and when I test drove the Jetta it sold me on the Forte!

Handles great, lots of pick up and the bluetooth is great for me as I'm a real estate agent and am always on the phone!

My dealership has been great just took it in for the 5,000 km maintenance and it was quick and efficient.

Cons: How would you improve 2010 Kia Forte?
My only complaint about the car is the material used on the door panels. It marks up very easily. When I first bought the car I was wearing a ring on my left hand and everytime I hit the door it left a small scratch. One day I used the toe of my boot to catch the door from closing on me and marked it again.

2010 Kia Forte Review:
Overall I am completely happy with my Forte! I have recommended it to others who are looking to get a great car for not a lot of cash! The warranty was better than any other I tested also.

Owned a Forte for 4 days. Stalled while braking numerous times. Took back to service. Car in shop 60 days. They flashed computer, changed cam shafts, changed cylinder heads. Less than 500 miles on car. Argued with Kia Customer Assistance Center for refund of price. Offered price minus Cash for Clunker money. Forced to go to arbitration. Forced to pay for rental car during dispute. Kia had my car and my money.
Kia Customer Assistance Center needs to be changed!! No customer service!!! This problem should have been taken care of immediately with either a replacement car or full repurchase of car.

2010 Kia Forte Review:
Kia does not take care of problems. Buying a car from them is Russian Roulette. If you are lucky, your car is good. If not, you are forced to battle with them. Not worth the price.
