V6 extended cab Tacoma. My 3rd Tacoma and by far this is the worst truck I've ever owned. Had transmission issues, windshield wiper issues, have a sound after my abs disengages that the dealer said is normal, my heat fan broke in the winter which took 3 months to get. The dealer told me the loud squeaking sound is the abs recharging??? Terrible truck and this will be my last. Seems to me like Toyota is going down hill. I'll be going American made next.

I love the ride, smooth, very good suspension.
There is lot's of room, even for tall drivers.
The 4 cylinder has good pickup, my combined mileage is 25mpg, 26 on open road @65mph.(less at 70)
Fun to drive, corners well.
Sporty look, lots of room under the hood too.
I like the LED lighting.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Tacoma?
Very difficult shifting into reverse. I'd suggest installing an LED in or near the shifter to indicate when in 1st gear, for safety purposes.
The seat can stand to be a bit higher, with lumbar support. Not real comfortable on long trips for this reason.
Suggest redesigning so the tires better fill the wheel wells. They look way to small with the 15' tire.

Fuel Economy-Lousy. 17 city, 20 highway with the 4cyl 2.7L 5 spd manual. Access cab Prerunner. DFW area which is essentially flat. Mostly highway to/from airport. My 3.0 Nissan V6 1992 King Cab with a burned valve managed the same mileage at 173,000 miles!
Rear compartment full of seats nobody would use. I'd prefer a naked cargo area behind the front seats. It's pretty but not functional.

2010 Toyota Tacoma Review:
Lousy performance of the 4.0L v6. I had 4cyl's in the past that out performed this engine. Will never buy another Toyota again as long as I live.

Doors on access cab need to close better and sound less tinny.
Brakes need to feel and work much better. Very spongy.

I love the room that it has for the crew section and I appreciate the power when I need it.
I also love the storage areas in the bed area.
It has a good stereo system and comfortable ride.
Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Tacoma?
I would like to see an electric rear sliding door so I do not have to stop and manually open it.
I would also like to have larger tires on the truck such as 18 inch rims.
