Pros: What do you like about 2011 Ford Edge?
Classic shape.
Rides like a luxury vehicle.
Lots of room.

Cons: How would you improve 2011 Ford Edge?
HEADRESTS! The headrests are bent so that the people in the front seats have their head just slightly forward. It is very uncomfortable. It just needs a bend back a bit.

Allow the use of movies etc. on the front screen with the vehicle not in motion or parked. The 2010 can do this!

Heater controls seem to be too hot or too cold. I can't seem to get it to stabilize.

Sometimes (rarely) I press on the gas from a stop and it jumps out of gear and back in with a "clump". Worried!

Sync having the same problems as others. Sometimes screen blacks-out then needs to reboot. Navigation today shows me today that I am driving through farm land??!!

For all the high tech screens and controls, it makes me miss the old 60's f-100 trucks!!

2011 Ford Edge Review:
I still love this car.

Worried about the problems later when it is not new anymore. Will Ford stand behind it??

Pros: What do you like about 2011 Ford Edge?
Styling is nice

Cons: How would you improve 2011 Ford Edge?
SYNCH IS HORRIBLE-- nothing but problems-- System is constantly "locked up"/re-booting (think the early days of Microsoft when you had to save stuff all the time or it was lost)

Examples--
System FROZE COMPLETELY (no radio, navigation, rear-camera, climate controls, nothing)-- had to take it in to dealer to re-boot
Radio on/off doesn't work
Lots of time, rear view camera doesn't work because system is booting up (I guess)
Phone does not hang up (even though call has ended)
Navigation interface is horrid
50/50 that I will get an ERROR on my SD-card for NAV, which makes things behave oddly
Ford promises a fix-- but yet to see one

Problem is-- everything goes through Synch, so when there is a Synch problem

I'm sure some really bright (young) Ford folks recommended a solution that would work and some higher-up knucklehead (old) opted for Microsoft (probably never rebooted a computer in his life)

2011 Ford Edge Review:
Car is ok, but SYNC IS TERRIBLE-- do not buy the car for this reason.

Pros: What do you like about 2011 Ford Edge?
Own an Edge Sport. Looks good, drives good and overall an ok vehicle. After owning 3 big brother Expeditions it is not an Expedition though.

Cons: How would you improve 2011 Ford Edge?
Have had the EDGE two months and continuous problems with the SYNC SYSTEM. Now the total system has failed and waiting on FORD to fix.

2011 Ford Edge Review:
Overall not impressed with gas mileage compared to what I experienced with my 3 Expeditions and this Edge.

Pros: What do you like about 2011 Ford Edge?
The push button start, the auto tailgate and the sleek look.
The gas mileage is good and the Sync is nice once you finally get used to it. It still needs some tweaking to be perfect, but is far better than my 2006 model was.

Cons: How would you improve 2011 Ford Edge?
It steers hard and tight to me. I have the loaded Limited with the 20 inch wheels and am vertically challenged, so I'm not happy with the ease of getting in the car nor the tight steering.

2011 Ford Edge Review:
Overall, it is a very nice car. I just wish it felt like it had more power steering, rather than such a tight feel.

I love my 2011 Ford Edge - looks great, drives great and decent gas mileage for the size of the vehicle.

Cons: How would you improve 2011 Ford Edge?
Sync System - has a mind of its own. I have had the vehicle at the dealership 2 times in the past 3 1/2 months and they have reprogrammed the system. Notified Ford Motor and they have been great to work with. They admit there are some issues with the new sync system but they are working to get the issues corrected - got to think positive!!! :)

I really like this vehicle.
It looks good, drives very well, handles well, and has good gas mileage.

Cons: How would you improve 2011 Ford Edge?
The navigation system, the electronic dash.

2011 Ford Edge Review:
Improve the Mytouch/sync/navigation system. Mine goes out very often and most of the time in the middle of navigating, so I've been lost waiting for the system to restart itself which occurs within 5 to 10 minutes some times and other times not at all. I have to carry my trusty garmin as backup.... sad isn't it. I've had it in to Ford twice, one more time and it's a lemon!

Love a lot about the Edge. It drives like it's on rails, it is exceptionally comfortable and there is a lot of space in it.

Cons: How would you improve 2011 Ford Edge?
I have a 2011 Edge and the windshield wipers are lower than the defrost panel; this in turns means that where the wipers sit it turns into on giant chunk of ice. I live in NE BC and it snows a lot and can get very cold (currently -30) and it is dangerous to drive my vehicle because the wipers are either stuck to the windshield (I have to chip away the ice with my snow brush) or there is so much ice on them from sitting in the ice that they don't clear the window. The only way I can get the window to clear is to turn the heat up really high and dry the window out! They need to either put in a heat strip like they have in the heated windows or move the wipers.
Wipers never work well up here but I have never driven a vehicle that is dangerous because of their wipers.

2011 Ford Edge Review:
Overall I really like my Edge. I purchased it Nov 27, 2010 (it's Jan 15, 2011) and since I bought the car I've had nothing but problems with the wipers. As I stated above it's cold here and snows a lot. I've struggled with the wipers every single day since I purchased it. I am one of the most patient people around and this has got me very upset. I can't drive safely in my 40 thousand dollar brand new vehicle.

Everything!! Upgraded from a 2008 SEL to the 2011 Limited. I ordered this one with all the bells and whistles, and I am very very happy with it.

Cons: How would you improve 2011 Ford Edge?
About the only Con I can think of is the location of the Hazard Flasher button. Very often when using the touch screen, I will activate the flasher while steading my hand. Not a big deal once you get used to it, but would be better if it were moved to the steering column.

Great car. Driveablity, comfort, fuel consumption and features make it one of the very best rides on the road..... and with intelligent AWD,,, the back roads as well!

It handles smoothly and gives a sense of confidence while driving it.
Ford has really made an effort to introduce a state of the art vehicle in the crossover market.

Cons: How would you improve 2011 Ford Edge?
The hood should cover the windshield wipers so they remain unseen while not in use.

2011 Ford Edge Review:
It's a very good vehicle so far. The after sale support must be as good as the vehicle. Ford Corporation needs to exercise more control over foreign distributors.
