Pros: What do you like about 2011 Honda Accord?
Looks and style.
Power with the V6 and fuel economy with the cylinder management system.
Handling is good, but not "sporty".
Cons: How would you improve 2011 Honda Accord?
Road noise!
Rear deck noise/rattle.
Head rest is very uncomfortable.
Cheap feeling interior.
2011 Honda Accord Review:
When shopping to replace my wife's Passat, she fell in love with the Honda Accord V6. We had test driven a Camry and Fusion prior. Camry was out because we didn't like the interior styling and Fusion was out because the salesman was so pushy and clingy that we didn't want to go back to the dealership.
The Accord is nice, but not 28K nice.
Road noise. It's pervasive. Not much else to say except that we're going to have sound deadening material put in.
Rear deck noise/rattle. When we got the car it was early spring and daily temps didn't exceed the 70's. Now that it's HOT, the rear deck bakes in the sun. After the deck gets hot, any movement causes noise. The radio causes an annoying buzzing. Road vibration causes buzzing and more. It's been to the dealership twice for this (they put foam tape in around the brake light) and while it's better, it's still there. I stumbled across this site today while trying to find a do-it-yourself fix. So far I just jammed pipe insulation in there and it seems to be 90% better.
The head restraint is always against the back of your head. My wife has to put the seat in a fair recline when she wears her hair in a bun (military) just to make it comfortable. No adjustment.
The interior is a bunch of cheap feeling plastic. We were used to the soft-touch interior of the VW. My Toyota has a nicer feel to the interior. Even the leather feels so-so.
We have the homelink system with bluetooth. When using the handsfree link, it works fine when at a stop. When moving, take into account all that road noise. We have to practically shout our side of the conversation while inclining our head towards the mic just so the other side can hear what we're saying.
Now that we've had the car for 3.5 months, I sometimes really regret buying the Accord. The Camry would have been quieter and smoother. The Ford had a nicer interior and less expensive. If we would have spent a few thousand more, we would have been up in the next class of cars.

2011 Honda Accord Review:
Our 2011 Honda Accord, which has 6000 miles and is 6 months old, is our third Honda Accord.
Test drove many cars in the same class and compared. For comparison, we also currently own, 2004 accord EX that we purchased new.
The 2011 is a larger car, with more interior room. But it seams that Honda's Quality has dropped. I use the older Honda sometimes because the seats feel better on my back. The 2011 Honda accord seats will torture you on long trips, unable to get comfortable.
The main reason for buying another Honda is the long term reliability. Have owned Ford, Chevy, Dodge cars in the past, and there were too many problems to go back.
I will keep the 2011 Honda, but plan to add some type of seat cushions to the front seats. I would suggest if you're planning to purchase the 2011 Honda Accord, research other cars in its class and test drive and compare.

Seats are greatly uncomfortable. Too hard and do not seat the body. Seats do not adjust to sufficient height for comfort and visibility. And I am a tall person.
Not enough under leg support.

The celestial color and exterior design is sporty for a Accord LX sedan.
The dashboard and interior is modern and stylish.
I finally got used to the seat lumbar support.
The rear seat leg room is excellent.
Car turns on a dime.
Cons: How would you improve 2011 Honda Accord?
An annoying hollow type of reverberating sound (drum-like) or hollow flutter sound only heard from the driver's seat when driving. Sound is amplified when on grainy asphalt and on the highway, but noise is present at any speed and any surface.
2011 Honda Accord Review:
I chose to buy my first Honda since I was disappointed with the Camry's 2011 exterior design, but it was a regretful decision.
I've taken the car twice to the dealer within 40-days of purchasing complaining about a hollow type of reverberating sound (drum-like) or hollow flutter sound only heard from the driver's seat. The Honda dealership's maintenance techs stated this a design issue that they cannot correct. I read several noise complaints from this website about 2009 models which should be a warning to those considering to buy a Honda Accord. Looks like I may be stuck with a substandard product.

Everything! I've been a Honda owner for over 20 years and they can't be beat in reliability, handling, style.
The lumbar support is very nice on long drives.
I had my choice on an Infinity, Lexus, Honda---- and chose Honda.
Cons: How would you improve 2011 Honda Accord?
Nothing - except maybe more storage.

Excellent car all around!!! Low maintenance, great safety, and wonderful resale value. They are like the energizer battery - "keep going and going and going".

Pros: What do you like about 2011 Honda Accord?
I like the overall exterior styling (except for the extended lights on the trunk which is an added expense to replace should you get rear ended). I like the handling & power of the V6 and fuel consumption is fair good on long range trips. Love the heated power/positional seats and one-touch power front windows and the larger trunk. Also like the low maintenance and safety record of this car.
Cons: How would you improve 2011 Honda Accord?
Put back the storage area with the push open door that was in the lower dash in the/07 Accord; this was a great cubby-hole for small kleenex pkg/box, snacks etc. Put the flexible rubber insets back in the cup holders to accommodate more that one size beverage container securely, such as were in the 07; these rubber insets also prevented the cupholders from getting scratched up. Remove the flip-up side door cover from the cupholders...it's waiting to get bent or broken from a purse, parcel etc...cupholders don't need a cover; but if they want a cover, design something different like a rollback out the way cover, not a cover that sticks up obtrusively. Put back the upper tray to the storage area on the console (I used that for quick access to Starbucks/Tim Hortons cards,notes,pens etc); it's inefficient to have to rummage through the big storage area when you're looking for an item you've put in there. Offer the option again of having the compass in the overhead rearview day/night mirror as in the /07; it was so convenient to be able to glance at the compass to verify my direction when not able to pull over to program the GPS or have the time to do so. Offer a more user friendly and better functional Navi system (check out the competition); I don't care for the appearance of the deep inset in the dash for the GPS & radio/satellite; or the large knob(s) controls.
2011 Honda Accord Review:
I recently lost my /07 Accord that I was so happy with and was going to buy another new Accord without question, but I'm very disappointed now that I've seen the new 11/'s; I'm just not liking most of the interior changes. I'm reluctantly going to check out other vehicles.

Car handles well.
Gas Mileage is around 30MPG.
Cons: How would you improve 2011 Honda Accord?
The front seats are the most uncomfortable pieces of junk. The active head restraint digs into the lower back. The only way to stop this is to pull the head rest forward causing you to have to bend your neck. If you only need a car to drive for 30 minutes or less it is ok. This is my first and probably last Honda. I can't wait to get to work to get out of the car and give my back a rest. Wow I paid a lot of money to get a back ache.
