Pros: What do you like about 2011 Toyota Tundra?
The power is put to the road perfectly through the 6 speed automatic.
Exterior styling is bold and says "get out of my way!"
Gas mileage with the 5.7 liter is better than expected, I have seen a steady 23 mpg on the highway at 70mph.
The front bucket seats are surprisingly comfortable and spacious.
Cons: How would you improve 2011 Toyota Tundra?
Hard to see some of the gauges behind the steering wheel.
Paint is thin and scuffs easily.
The sport mode on the console shift model is a bit sluggish.
Upshifts can be delayed by a second or two.
2011 Toyota Tundra Review:
Very Happy so far. No issues to note other than a scuff in the thin paint.
Power is magnificent. Handling is better than you would expect with a 4-door 4x4. They seem to have fixed the rear jiggly effect on rough roads with the 2011. Good highway ride, better than most Large SUV's. On the highway at 70-75 mph I was seeing mpg's in the 22-24 range on long runs. Was not expecting that. Gauge cluster is a bit sloppy, a couple of the gauges are hidden behind the steering wheel.
